Do you have a blog prior to this course? Yes and No. I sign up for sites all the time with the initiative to start a blog but never really get into it.

2. Are you comfortable with downloading + installing software, troubleshooting software, and using help sites? Yes
3. If your computer "crashes" or gets a virus -- what resources do you have for help (friends count!)? What would you do? I use google to try and figure out if I can resolve the issue myself if I am not familiar with what's wrong or I'll take my computer to the Apple store and have them fix it.
4. Do you have reliable access to a computer at home (or work)? Yes
5. What browser and word processing programs do you have on your personal computer? Safari and Firefox(Use Safari more) and I use MS Word
6. What kind of connection do you have (dial-up, DSL, cable, wideband, etc.) and how fast is it for downloading and uploading files? (or you can just describe how long it takes the Kean site to load if you are unfamiliar with the terminology) Cable, I use Xfinity and it loads pretty fast
7. What kind of backup do you have for your files for school? USB Flashdrive For your system software? Time Machine which I don't back up often but I probably should.
8. Assuming you use email and that you get a large number of emails in a given day, how do you keep track of/organize the emails/files you want to keep? I flag them on my BlackBerry
9. Do you own a smartphone? If so, which one? (brand, model, os) Yes a BlackBerry Storm which I will be upgrading to an iPhone 4S when I get the time to do so.
10. Are you an avid texter? Yes but I hate having LONG conversations via SMS, I'd rather just call the person. Do you use a number pad, mini keyboard, or touch screen to text? Touchscreen.
11. What other technologies do you own and use? Be as descriptive as you can about each. I use my iPod touch to listen to music and surf the web when I'm at home and too lazy to go to my MacBook, a Barnes&Noble nook(first generation) to read books, and other than that just my blackberry.
12. When researching for a project or paper, what online resources do you use specifically? It depends upon the topic/class. Most of the time I will just use the Kean online library.
13. Do you have any art or design experience? Please specify and elaborate if you do. Yes but I wouldn't consider it applicable to this class. I am a freelance makeup artist so my canvas is the face and body.
